    end of.contract npo aq sa feb. 20,2018 sa company q at nkahanap na din po aq ng bgong employer q at mgasstart npo aq ng work sa feb. 21,2018..pano po ang tamang pagprocess ng pagkuha ng police clearance sa abu dhabi? kc online na daw po ang pgkuha… kaso nung ng registered po aq sa online need ng verification code na isesend sa mobile number pra makapagcontinue ka ng online application.. the thing is ang mobile number na nakaindicate eh sa dating PRO namen at hibdi sa akin kaya hindi aq mkapagcontinue ng log in online.
    Ano po kayang dapat gawin at may iba papo bng option noe bukod sa online processing ng police clearance?

    1. Hi Jannet, the best way I think is to call the police station nearest you and ask for advice kasi minsan they can give you a better solution. Hope all goes well with your application.

      Ang police clearance comes from where you actually lived, to clear you of any police record during your stay. Doesn’t matter saan mo gagamitin, but you should get it where you lived. I think 🙂

      Yes, personal appearance talaga dapat. Unless nasa ibang bansa ka na then you will need to authorize someone.

    Necessary to get the letter of your employer? Hope we can have options for that. We all knew that most of the employer don’t care about there Staffs. Hope we can have some options..

    1. HI, I agree with your post. I used the AD Police Mobile Apps. But I think the charges are more expensive now. (I will be charged for the Good conduct certificate 100AED, Translation 100 AED, and Empost Delivery 13AED.) No options of taking it personally in the Police Station.

  12. I just did mine a few days ago. As of July 2014, the process is very simple, so let me help others out as well :

    1) Go to the online application located at : https://es.adpolice.gov.ae/gccr/MainPage.aspx?Culture=en&&PC=ENConditions.aspx&tlt=Conditions%20to%20apply

    2) Click the link that says “Apply New Application” on the top right side

    3) Enter in all the details for your Emirates ID, Passport and Visa numbers

    4) Tick the option for “English Translation & Attestation” so that you can get an English certificate (not Arabic)

    5) Once you are done and have submitted the form, it will generate an automatic token number.

    6) Witihin 24 hours you will receive an SMS from Abu Dhabi Police that it has been approved (or rejected).

    7) Go to any of the police stations listed at https://es.adpolice.gov.ae/gccr/PrintingSitesEn.aspx to collect the certificate. I recommend Khalidiya Police Station (opposite Buteen Co-Op Supermarket) as there are large number of English speaking staff there.

    8) You will need to carry a credit or debit card as well as cash. They will charge around 57 Dhirams on the credit/debit card as well as collect 100 Dhirams as cash for the translation. They didn’t even collect my ID photocopies as everything must be online. But i recommend you keep copies with you in case they need it.

    I didn’t have to submit any letter or request forms (like some people told me). Thanks to the UAE Government for efficient and excellent service !!

    1. oo makaka kuha ka naman pero kung uuwi ka sa pinas then if apply ka sa canada depende kung kailan nila ask yung police clearance usualy kailangan police clearance pag application for permanent residence kana at mag ask sila ng panibagong least p.clearance

    1. You have to go to HK Police station and do the needful. It should be attested by UAE Embassy in HK then send with the application form filled by you and photocopies of passport/UAE visa, Emirates ID, 2 photographs. Hope this helps.

Hello , I have been offered a job in Abu Dhabi in Tourism field and I have signed the offer at the beginning of march 2013 , now it has been almost three months while my CID is being processed , and every week i get a message from the company telling me that my clearance is still in progress , I have refused all the other offers while am waiting , but cant tell for sure if I am gonna get this approval , after 3 months !!!! Is there a way i can follow up on my CID other than contacting my company ???? please let me know if you have a similar situation …… Thank you :S

    Getting the finger print from police department and attested from U.A.E embassy where the applicant lives
    Passport photo copy of applicant with previous visa
    The application send to Abu Dhabi police head quarter P.O 253 finger print department.Abu Dhabi police.Abu Dhabi
    The certificate will be sent through air mail to applicant
    Arabic language certificate cost 80 DHs(50 certificate fee + 30 DHs fee of fast mail)
    100 DHs Extra fee for accreditation and translation to English.

  31. I followed & took the advice of Ajwanth. Yes, the Al Shabeeya Police Station in Najda is quick and will only take a few minutes as long as you have all the required documents. For my application, they just wanted a scanned copy of the passport with stamped UAE visa, copy of my Emirates ID, and the letter given by my employer in Arabic translation. For the payment, they will not accept cash but only a Visa credit card (I had a Mastercard credit card, but they said they prefer Visa). If you do not have a credit card, then before going to the Police Station, you must already have with you the E-Dirham card.

  37. I already apllied for police clearance certificate on 06 sept 2012.i submited all the necessary documen.they return back mpost receipt(aed 50) and payment form.still waiting for certificate.can any one tell me whenj i will get certificae and what i have to do to get it back.

  38. i got a job in adnh and they provide me offer letter and also they required cid clearance certificate and they have applied for my clearance certificate and they told me you have to wait until we dont receive cid clearance certificate.my question is this anybody have experience in this field?and now its gona 10 days but no answer from company.i would like to know what is this cid clearance certificate and what they search and look for verification and how many time and days they take for this i am still worried cuz i dont have a job and my visa is going to expire and still no answer from company about cid clearance if anybody know about this please kindly suggest to me.

    1. I’m not sure if CID is the same with Police Clearance. But if the company applies for this, you have nothing else to do but wait 😦 And that’s the sad think because they rarely update you or tell you a time frame. You can call again and tell the HR about your dilemma of expiring visa. I Hope all goes well.

  40. Hi there, my new employer in Seychelles requested to have the police clearance certificate. Now, my question is that I have no letter from the company as none of the party is aware of this. The letter of request as you mentioned earlier has to be written in Arabic only ? What kind of information should be included in there.

    1. Hi, as much as I’d like to help, my knowledge ends only in companies hiring within the UAE because the letter of request is basic in applying for a police clearance. I think the best you can do is call the police station and inquire about this and what is supposed to be written in the letter.

  42. i needed a police clearance for the canadian embassy. i went to shabeya police station but, apparently, their machines aren’t working. so they told me to go to madina police station. they only needed copies of my passport, visa, and emirates id. i paid 53aed for the certificate thru e-dirham; 100aed cash for english translation; 15aed cash for empost courier. hopefully delivery wouldn’t take long.

  43. im very much disappointed the way these process go through. I thought this is how easy as it is. First they give me a date for the release of my police clearance in shabeya police station, on the released date they ask me to wait for a couple of minutes just to find out their system is not working after that they give me an referral in mena police station. Without informing anybody that the mena police station has been transferred already to the opposite side of Abu dhabi cooperatve supermarket. Although i was already late for a couple of minute for the releasing of certificate still they give me a chance and i showed up the receipt i had from the payment of this certificate. Guess what happened??… The certificate is still not process this will be finish “after next next week”.. it means this take two weeks processing…what a mess?

  45. Hi, my husband work in Abu Dhabi last 2007-2009 then when recession come, he lost his job. After a month he find a job in Dubai and they gave working visa, but unfortunate he only work for 5 months, he go to Philippines for vacation and he will not come back again in dubai. My question is can we get police clearance even he will not finish hes contract in his employer?.. where we going to apply for his police clearance in Abu dhabi or Dubai?.. thank for your response!

    1. The first question will be ”what is the police clearance for?”

      Generally, the company/person requesting for the clearance should state where the clearance should come from. most of the time it’s the current residency or the last job residency.

      Like when my company required it, they specifically stated ”police clearance if resident of abu dhabi. Those who didn’t reside in abu dhabi didn’t need to show a police clearance.

      The best answer is to ask the requesting party where the clearance should come from..

  49. Hi ..Thanks for the information..Only it has been simplified further.Applied for mine today. Work timings-7.30-12pm. Location:Al Shabeeya police Station,Najda St. Document to carry-Emirates Id, or original passport. Method-pay 56Dhms using E-Dirham card or debit card or credit card.Collect payment receipt and come back in 3 days to collect the Certificate. No crowd, no hassle. Its the first time I had a wonderful experience and a smiling person service in a Police station.

    1. Police clearance is only applicable for people residing in the UAE.

      If you are holding a resident visa in the UAE and you are in the Philippines only for vacation, yes, your representative can go apply for the permit in the Police department provided that she/he has your ID card. They the police dept will courier it to you within the region.
