Day 1 IN MALAYSIA

My sister and I reached our hotel at 4:00 AM and yet we managed to wake up at 9:00 AM to have our breakfast.

The buffet wasn’t much but just right for a 3-star hotel. We were still very sleepy but didn’t want to miss our complimentary meals.

After breakfast we went back to bed and slept. We woke up around 2:00 PM and decided to just walk around the hotel neighborhood. We were in a very good location, being within the popular shopping and street food area.

We started walking looking for a place to eat.

Bukit Bintang is the name of the shopping and entertainment district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It encompasses Bukit Bintang Road and its immediate surrounding areas. The area has long been Kuala Lumpur’s most prominent retail belt that is home to many landmark shopping centres, al-fresco cafés, swanky bars, night markets, as well as hawker-type eateries. Kuala Lumpur is known for their street food and we wanted to get the most out of it. We could not decide from the many options but the rain helped us settle here.

After eating we followed where our sleepy feet brought us.

We got lost for almost an hour before finding our way home.

We agreed to rest a bit before heading out again but as soon as our bodies hit the bed, we were dead.

Day 1 was gone just like that.
