Ever since I was introduced to Paragliding, I have met so many Korean pilots who touched my life in one way or another. This is my third time in Danyang and I have a pocket full of stories about the kindness of the pilots here.
I first met Pilot Jason last January in the Philippines, through my instructor (Master Pyro). Last month, we invited him to my hometown, where we were launching tandem flights as part of our paragliding campaign in Nueva Vizcaya.
He was the perfect partner for this event because he understood the safety precautions plus the right amount of fun needed for a new fly site.
All his passengers enjoyed their flights with him. He had 100% satisfaction rate! Amuh-zing!
I too had my share of happy flying with him. Proven and tested!
Today, I was in for a treat because he wanted to fly me for free.
The last time I flew in Danyang, it was summer. Now, I was excited to see a different season’s view. I missed the snow-covered mountain yesterday, so I had to settle with melted ice today.
I still had the flu but no fever can stop me from doing this…
We landed very smoothly and I wanted to give him a huge thank you hug because I was impressed, but he ran away! It was his loss. Haha.
Why is he called AWESOME? You have to see and experience flying with him for you to know and believe. He is coming back to Nueva Vizcaya in November, something to look forward to.
