My most hated word in the Filipino language is TANGA (Stupid). This morning, I sent a text message to one my THREADS kids, 

”What are your plans?”

I was surprised when she replied saying,

”Who you?”

I replied back.

”Violet”.

She replied with this message.

I do not understand where the angst came from. Obviously it was a missent message. But, wow, is the use of such strong words necessary?

I called her to clarify. She was all rude and barbaric. 

”Hindi kita kelangan sa buhay ko!” (I do not need you in my life!) she yelled at me. Her impudent text messages continues.

Tsk, tsk. She picked a fight with the wrong person. 

Dear barbaric cellphone owner, you may not need me in your life, but I need YOU in mine right now. You are my perfect break from all these wedding preparations and rigorous online meetings. 

For once, I’m gonna stoop down your level and fight this stupid fight just for the fun of it.

I rally all my bored readers and my war-freak friends in the Philippines to text this number

and tell her,

”Tanga is a bad word.”
