To make my OFWship official, I now have to take part in the infamous Kish Island experience. Holding a tourist visa, I need to exit Abu Dhabi to have my passport stamped so my new employment visa can be processed.
Dubbed the “Island of no return,” I cannot imagine the horrors and plights of Filipinos stranded in the Island. Although my company has given me assurance that they won’t leave me stuck in there, I could not stop myself from thinking all sorts of what-ifs. All the “mag-ingat ka” warnings I heard from other Kishemons has given me the jitters.
Good thing I have a God bigger than all my worries and because of him, I can face these uncertain days.
Await my return, pray it will be with good stories.
