Spain Captain kisses girlfriend live on TV

Moments after Iker Casillas lifted the World Cup trophy, he is interviewed by girlfriend reporter Sara Carbonero.

Sara: Tell me how you are. How do you feel?

Iker: You catch me at a good moment. I am very happy. Super happy really. I think we deserve it from start to finish.

Iker: I want to thank the people who have motivated me, my parents, my brother (beigns to cry)…

Sara: It’s ok. Don’t worry. Let’s talk about the game and later…

Iker: (cuts in) No…my friends.  And you.

The look on the captain’s face was “No, this is what I want to do,” then grabs hold of her and plants a kiss on her lips (then her eyes) to her surprise.

Iker: I have to go.

Sara: Madre mia! (or something like that)

I wanna be her for just that moment.

For the entire night, I watched reruns of Casillas saves. Amazing reaction time! A team captain, a world champion and a romantic man –  perfect combination!
