BBC Years at FCB

FEBIAS COLLEGE OF BIBLE

SY 2002-2003

This is the photo that incriminated me and got me my first ever call slip (Demerit slip).

We were the newbies, happily enjoying our first kick-off event. Little did we know that it was an offense to step on the chapel fence especially that it was newly painted. The culprits were summoned to the dean’s office. No one wanted to step up to the plate. Unfortunately, this digital photo came out and tadaaa! Culprits arrested! I was even standing right in the middle. Tsk tsk.

Check out my outfit! Enormous rubber shoes, elephant pants, spray-painted shirt and my usual flat parted hair. My oh my, what was I thinking?

This is my favorite event of all – our New Heights Challenge. Hello carabao dung, muddy plot, rough branches, high jumps and wet underwear. In that last photo, I was trying so hard to laugh and look brave but deep inside, I was so scared of what the next ”surprise” was.

My 80+ batchmates that I love to death. This is our only photo with almost everyone in. This is again another proof that I have gender issues. There I am in the middle, above the red line where all the guys should be.

I was the one who made our banner and it was after the 3-day event when I realized it sucked. It looked like an ad for Perla soap. Haha.

My super friends. Majalla Phoebe Rico and Maria Christine Reyes.

We didn’t like red too much.

Our most celebrated victory. We were champions of the kick-off cheering competition, a rare achievement for newbies. I was so proud we defeated my brother Leo’s batch who were supposed to be the best in this. *Fist raised high*

My BBC year is so far my favorite year in my 25 years. Here I found friends that I can keep for life.

SOLAFIDE!
