When the Captain arrived in the Philippines, I chose a vacation rental to stay in rather than a hotel. It was cheaper and more convenient especially that my mom, Joy and Leo would be bunking with us.

We searched online and found JEDIDIAH RENTALS. We left an inquiry and a reply came instantly. There was a unit available for us in Sycamore Tower, Dansalan Gardens in Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong.

We rented a 2-bedroom condo unit with 2 toilet & bath, kitchen, dining area, washing area, sala and balcony.

Cap had the master bedroom while my family and I inhabited the smaller room and the cozy sofa. The unit came with free WiFi internet connection, telephone and cable TV.

My family enjoyed the pool and Cap was happy there was a fitness gym. The location was very accessible to public transport but still maintained exclusivity and privacy through their walled perimeters and guarded entrance. It had landscaped gardens and koi ponds all around.

Their resort-like facilities included indoor playground, multi-purpose hall with billiards and table tennis, basketball court and front desk services.

We paid P2,500/night for a week’s stay plus P2,500 for electricity – that is aircondition running for almost 24 hours in the master’s bedroom and half a day in the sala (everyday for a week).

The best experience was the service provided by property manager, GRACE OCAMPO. Coordinating only throught text, ym and emails, we were able to book a unit, rebook a more suitable unit, settle accounts and check out hassle free.

We were happy campers!
