There are days when I wake up and I feel like I am trapped in my daily routine, trapped in the need to work for money, trapped in a life far away from home, trapped in a country I don’t want to grow old in, trapped in the present.

Lies like these kill expectations, trapping our hearts forever in the present. To keep desire alive and flourishing, we must put on bigger bifocals, and renew our vision for what lies ahead.

Things will not always be like this. Eye has not seen, ear has not heard all that God has in store for his children. He designed us for greater things.

Be expectant! Be excited!
