Let me start my first post of this year by stating the obvious. Yes, I haven’t blogged for a very LOOOOONG time.
Starting mid 2013, a tornado of traumatic events pinned me to the ground and led me to grasp my Savior’s cloak. These painful months led me to humble myself, seek repentance and ask forgiveness from God who I hurt the most by my blind selfish choices.
But He is still good because alongside those agonizing months, He has granted me a whirlwind of adventure – from Bangkok, to Brazil, to Istanbul and four trips home to the Philippines in a year!
It’s 2014 and God has given me a wonderful start – a deeper spiritual intimacy, renewed relationships, a new job and a new year to make things better and brighter.
The test isn’t finished yet, but I will stand firm, my feet will slowly follow His steps and I will keep to His way without turning aside. I pray that after He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
