Today I turn 35 and it’s been a very disappointing year.

Yet I learned that the seasons of our lives that are the most fun, aren’t necessarily the most fruitful. There will be seasons in your life, where you will be cut down and your branches will be cut off.

But even in this PRUNING season, there is a PROMISE. The prophet Isaiah once said, “I see a stump cut down to nothing, but I see a shoot coming forth from the stump”.

Maybe God is not punishing you, maybe God is preparing you. He is up to something, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Some of God’s greatest work in my life was when I couldn’t feel him. He will let you bounce back.

You have BEEN CUT DOWN for a COMEBACK!

So keep looking forward and keep flying upwards!
