Surot

“And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the cattle according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”  Genesis 1:25

Dear God,

Why did you make surots? Every night these bed bugs keep me awake. The big ones are terrifyingly ugly before and after I crush them. The tiny ones are too small to be seen yet too fierce in their bites.

What is your good and perfect will for them? I hope to know before I run out of blood.

Amen.

My Surot burial. May you all rest in bloody peace.

    1. dear violet,
You are so kind. You have offered the surots their last supper before they passed away. They may have been saying while drinking your blood, “aah, this is heaven. Her blood is so yummy, I think I may die in peace now.”

You are truly a generous girl. So kindhearted and loving. Each night as you lay down on your used-to-be-infested-surot-but-there-might-still-be-some-left bed, I hope you will continue to think of them as they are probably thinking of you on how you have taken their life away with the use of a slipper or a shoe. Always remember, surots multiply in 100s. Keep in mind “revenge” will be theirs while you are sleeping.

      Take care in the future.

      Love lots. xoxox

    2. Dear ate joy,

you cant kill them with a slipper or a shoe. you have to crush them with your finger nails. such traumatic experience for a kind person like me – to see my yummy blood go wasted.

you’re so right. sometimes in my sleep i feel my body elevating. i imagine a band of surot lifting me up and singing a Walt Disney-like supper song. wah! revenge is near! i am so scared.

      hahaha.

P.S. I am sending you a box with a girl surot and a boy surot. i hope you like them 🙂
