Tonight on my way home, I was caught by the Abu Dhabi jaywalker patrol.
Lesson for the night: When crossing the street illegally, make sure you cross side by side with local Arabs so incase a hidden patrol awaits you on the other side, the local Arabs can reason out for themselves and you “tag-along” with whatever reason they give. When the officer pardons them, you automatically get a pardon too.
Way to go, Violet, you are not 200 Dirhams poorer.

Tamad kasi ako magstairs. I hate walking up and down stairs. Eh ang daming stairs nung underpass tapos nakakatakot pa.
