I am living in a football country wherein women playing is a non-existent phenomenon. 9 months and all I can do is drool and stare with envy at people playing everywhere.
A conversation with Ivory during my first month in Abu Dhabi.
ME: Ivz, I really badly wanna play. You think it’s possible?
IVORY: I don’t know. I’ve been here over a year now but I haven’t seen any girls play.
ME: (Sighs) That’s the saddest thing…
IVORY: But you never know, it may happen.
ME: Yun na siguro ang pinakaproof na mahal ako ni God ‘pag nangyari yun. God would love me that much to make it happen.
_____________
Last night, I knew God was smiling down at me. ”You just had to wait for the right time, my child.”

He didn’t make the year end without proving His Loving Kindness.
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4)
