My running shoes are back on!
The Captain has started fulfilling his part of a deal we made, so I shall get serious with mine.
Cap, just so you know that what you did on Friday and will be doing for the next Fridays matter… BIGTIME!

I’m hitting the gym once again. I am not a gym buff, more of a sweat buff. I don’t really like gyms because they’re monotonous, suffocating and sleepy-ish. If I had a choice I’d rather run in parks, tracks or soccer fields.
I remember Van and I going to our varsity gym trainings with heavy feet and sleepy eyes. We would come up with all sorts of ideas just to spice up the prosaic and drudging gym drills. We even created our own abs workout on the sidelines. Our tummies remain abs-less ’till now.

When I started working, my running and football life died.
It took me months t0 find a sweat-buddy from my company. Kuya Jon emerged from his artist bat cave to be my willing jogging partner. On scheduled dates, we would hit Ultra and jog around the oval ’till his legs grew weary and I ran out of pogi boys to stare at.

Eventually, rainy days and conflict of schedule forced me to enroll at…

I would drag myself to gym everyday after work, just so I can sweat. No one wanted to come with me. It was depressing gym-ing alone. Still, I was devoted.
Two months later, I flew to Abu Dhabi.
Fate was kinder, it gave me a new jog-mate in just a month. Both running fanatics, Kuya Aris and I would spring the nights after work. He came in very useful to ward off the creeps along the way. Haha.
Sadly, I was moved to night shift. Goodbye again, sweat life.
9 months later, I find myself jobless with over 3 weeks of bum-hood before my flight home. God was smiling, He knew exactly what I needed.
A gym buff boyfriend…

Haha.
I am now subscribed in a gym for a month. It’s a nice feeling to have sweat trickling down my spine and drenching my shirt once again.
Com’on, running shoes, you and I have a bikini body to create from scratch!
Vi, kung gusto mong tumakbo sa UPD, just let me know. Sabay tayo. Although di siguro kita masasabayan bec my usual pace is a 9min km.
