I have very few friends from my Creative Writing block in the Ateneo. Mainly because I spend more time playing football than actually studying.
Verne is one of them. He was the very first and only person who invited me to his birthday celebration. Haha. Yes, I was very anti-social then. My fun-nest memory of him was when we re-enacted the French Revolution for our Western History finals. He was the king and I was the peasant.
It may seem like he doesn’t like babies but in real life, he does.
He sent me this message a day ago and it’s worth sharing.
Every baby deserves a happy childhood. Unfortunately, many babies in the Philippine General Hospital will never get the chance to grow up and live their dreams.
Please help me and my classmates from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, together with CHILD Foundation Inc., raise funds to buy incubators and pediatric beds for the PGH’s Pediatric Wards.
We now accept online donations (all major credit cards and Bancnet online) through our website. Please support our “Keeping the Dream Alive” Project.
Feel free to PM me or give me a text at 0917-8914154 for any questions or concerns you may have.
