A man travels the world in search of what he needs and returns home to find it. – George Moore
I grew up in an imperfect family but it’s a family rooted in God’s love.
I had a father who modeled compassion and commitment. I have a mother who embraces me despite my rebellion and faulty choices. I have brothers who correct me when I’m wrong and yet stick to my side like my personal bodyguards. I have sisters who fight with me and yet fight for me when bad things happen.
I grew up not afraid to make mistakes because at the end of the day, my family are the people who would find everything forgivable.
Whenever I go home, my time with them will never be enough. But I take every opportunity, I grab every second, because in their presence I feel recharged.
What keeps one living faraway from home going? It is them.
That is my secret.
Here’s a special treat, my sister singing you Secrets.
