So I’ve been phone-less for the past month, a major holiday calamity for someone used to being connected and available at all times.

For the past years, my husband and I have gifted family members and friends with mobile phones. Not that we’re rich but because phones are way cheaper in the UAE compared to the Philippines.

It’s not about the phone or the brand, believe me, I am low maintenance when it comes to techy stuff. But it’s that indescribable feeling knowing that your brothers and sisters look out for you. It’s that happy assurance that they’ve got your back in big or small things.
