For 2 days, our instant paragliding team worked together to fly local passengers from the community.
THE VIEWS
Visitors of the Sinurambi View Point enjoyed the show, while flying passengers basked at the greenery under their toes.
The Kompleks Sukan Tambunan (Tambunan Sports Complex) became our landing zone. The superb view of the well-maintained football stadium, combined with the cheers of student athletes, was the perfect ending for each flight.
THE PASSENGERS
From take-off to landing, they had smiles (and sometimes fright) all over their faces!
THE PILOTS
We only had 2 tandem pilots to fly all the guests, but Pyro’s and Azizan’s hard work gave everyone memories of a lifetime. No matter how tiring it was for them, they made each flight a fun experience!
I also met other solo pilots who inspired me more to learn quickly. Haha.
MY PARAGIRL-ING
In exchange for this trip, this was my job – to make sure Pyro’s passengers do not get blown away by the wind before they took off.
THE FACES OF TAMBUNAN
For 2 days, this was what paragliding did – it brought together people of different walks in life to enjoy the beauty of nature from a bird’s point of view.
1 town, 2 pilots, 3 days, 20 tandem passengers, countless supporters and unlimited fun – all in 7 minutes. Watch!
Thank you, Tambunan! Let’s hope you become the next paragliding go-to in Sabah. 🙂
