I did not mean to write a separate post for our VIP tandem passengers, but I was star-struck by their presence, I just had to write about them.

Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan is a well-known political leader in Sabah, Malaysia.

I was amazed that he actually said yes to this adventure even if he had a busy schedule. Not only was he there, but he came with his wife, Datin Cecilia Edwin, and his daughter, Dawi.

He was all smiles from start to finish. 

I did a short interview with him after the flight and he was thrilled with the whole experience. He offered us his all-out support for developing Tambunan as a paragliding fly site.

THE WIFE

While preparing Datin Cecilia for her flight, I was dazed by her bravery and joyful spirit. She had a rough take-off and had to do it twice, but she remained calm and cheerful.

Like a true public servant, she was waving here and there. And like a real adventurous woman, she was screaming with excitement up in the air. She didn’t even want to land! Haha. I was surprised that she did not forget the filming tips I gave her so she can have a good coverage of her flight.

THE DAUGHTER

What a pretty lady this girl is! ❤ Romandawi was a bit scared at first but like her mom, she had grace under pressure, even waving at the crowd after take-off.

Somewhere in the middle of her flight, her fun side came out and even Pyro can’t stop smiling. :P What a great honor to fly this famous and well-respected political family of Sabah. Thank you for supporting us and helping us spread the fun!
