DAY 3 IN MALAYSIA
Read Part 1 here and Part 3 here
“The DragonBack ridges (Dragon’s Back-bone) are rugged and long protruding quartz ridges that spans across and divides a reserved jungle zone and modern developments.”
It did felt like trekking atop a dragon’s back.
Looking at the final destination… we will get there.
Amos drew our attention to the panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur, one side is the city and on the other side is pure nature. Spectacular!
This is me trying to imagine what would happen if the dragon suddenly woke up.
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.
Rock climbing is new for me. Even if I spent all my childhood summers climbing mountains, we didn’t have high rocks as part of our trails.
My Vibram Five-fingers served me well, giving me a good grip on slippery rocks.
Getting closer and closer…
Finally, arriving at destination…
Looking down…
This is what you see… scary but lovely.
The scene was so breathtaking, I wanted to cry.
If I had more days to spare, I would camp here and start writing a book.
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” – Isaiah 55:12
Read Part 3 here.
Stunningly amazing adventure, hope to see and climb that someday!!!
