I woke up today, feeling like my brain was wide awake and rolling again! I was waiting for this moment since last year. Remember the book I can’t seem to read and understand? Today I feel like I’ll be progressing from page 3!
I found myself the perfect study place…
Atop Doo Mountain (Dusan) in Danyang, South Korea, is the cozy Doo San Sky Cafe. It serves as a booking and viewing place for paragliding passengers and visitors.
On this particular day, it was all mine. God knew I needed the quiet to focus on my reading.
At one point, I looked up from my book and was amazed at what I saw outside my window.
From where I was sitting inside the cafe, I could see the take-off hill. I could watch the pilots run into the wind and paint the sky with beautiful splashes of colors.
The feeling was indescribable. It was like my book was coming alive right in front of my eyes.
When I reached Chapter 4, I felt my brain slowly shutting down. For many years, I have taken for granted my ability to read books in one sitting. Now that it’s gone, I’d just have to be thankful for each chapter I close.
