There’s a new kid in the block! A fresh new company has joined the paragliding Mecca of South Korea.

Last April 2019, I was fortunate to witness the opening season of Awesome Paragliding (단양청춘패러글라이딩 direct translation: youngpara), a new company that offers tandem flights in Danyang County.

I spent a couple of weeks with them and saw the inside-out of their operations. The quality of service and the safety procedures they do for their passengers were remarkable.

The company may be new in town but their pilots are all old-time fliers with impressive skills.

The owner is a seasoned pilot with over 30 years of flying experience. Armed with the desire to create a company that prioritizes its pilot’s safety and well-being, he invested in building a team that shared the same vision.

A happy pilot makes happy passengers. This is the company’s core team of supermen!

In just a few weeks watching them fly and receive good reviews from their thrilled passengers, I learned to love the sport more and more. I admired this company so much, I left them with proof of my existence. My Filipino readers would know why – see photo below. 🐮
