Today in Danyang, we sailed through South Korea’s largest lake.
The Chungjuho Lake was formed after the construction of Chungju Dam. It is the largest multi-purpose reservoir in the country as it connects the city of Chungju, the city of Jecheon, and the county of Danyang.
The ferry cruise is the most popular way to see the landscape surrounding the lake. 
Philippines, Canada and South Korea on board!
This ferry had 2 decks. The lower floor had air-conditioning while the upper floor was an open deck.
The cruise moved leisurely through amazing views of uniquely-shaped rocks and peaks.
The lakescape changes color and ambiance at every season but the atmosphere of serenity is the same at all times.
We were so hungry after the tour!
Danyang is a great place to visit. It’s less than 2 hours away from Seoul by bus, car and train. You can schedule your tandem paragliding flight for half a day…
