TAKE A WALK with a turtle
and behold the world in pause.
On our way up the hill, we stopped by a little turtle farm just beside the road.
I didn’t realize how slow turtles really were until I tried feeding one. For almost 30 minutes, I watched my turtle lift up her leg and stick out her neck towards me. She just needed 2 more steps to reach food and she was taking forever. I gave up even before she could lift her other leg.
Somebody totally relates to them 🙂
I wish I had a shell where I can retreat into when I don’t feel like socializing with the outside world. But more than that, I wish I were a teenage mutant ninja turtle with my very own Sensei.
We drove away and I can see my turtle still inching her way towards her food.

I hope they’re not breeding turtles for food.

I hope not too. I wonder what they do to the dead ones though.
