The world is not your garbage can.
Noise is pollution.
How hard is it to clean up after hanging out with your group? Keep your trash in your pocket. If it doesn’t fit, find a trash can.
When travelling in groups, be mindful of those who came to the island for peace and quiet. Don’t yell at each other. Tone down your laughter especially when you’re up late at night. Not everyone wants to hear your barkada stories. The loud music you like may not be the music I like.

COME ON TIME
When travelling or doing activities in a group, always come on time. Some people made the extra effort of being early.
Love the locals
Support the food and services offered by the locals. Treat yourself with the fresh seafood that they sell or the halo-halo, mais con yelo and ice candy they peddle around. Enjoy their massages and water sports activities. Settle for a reasonable price but also be generous. It’s not everyday that they get opportunities for income.
Don’t waste food. It took a lot of sweat to bring in what you’re eating into the island.
Be kind to the children, they won’t remember your name, but they will remember your kindness.
